Unsure what to do as baby only contact naps. How can I get her to sleep on Moses basket or crib? She’s 12 weeks.

Mines the same, will not be put down at all 😭 love the contact naps, but can be exhausting
Yes it’s so hard esp if you alone. How to sterilise bottles or make some food or get a drink.

Have you found something she’ll settle in at all? Mine will lie down in high chair. He won’t sleep but he’ll settle (sometimes) and that means I can at least sterilise bottles
Nope nothing yet just my arms lol

My baby boy was born in April 2024 and I had this severely with him, I found just constant persistence worked. They will cry, they want you but they need to learn to sleep on their own. Just try bit by bit and the time they’re sleeping on their own will eventually get longer. I did it once a day and then baby wore for the rest. It will happen I promise!!

It will come I promise :) first three months are more challenging as it's called fourth trimester and actually babies still should be inside... But we would not be able to deliver such big babies therefore nature made it this way and therefore babies need the contact... You'll miss it one day even if it seems impossible now 😅 if you want/need to do stuff just have your little one in carrier. Baby is on you so happily napping and you can be mobile :) xx
And as Hannah mentioned above - keep trying it and one day your baby will happily sleep without contact naps...please remember that with babies/kids everything is just a phase xx

They will get there! My firstborn would only contact nap, and was like that until 5 months old. If she’s not rolling could you try swaddling during the day if she likes to be swaddled? They will eventually get there however, when they’re ready, just keep trying to pop them down. With both my children, a firm hand on the chest and a light hand on the forehead once they’re in their bed (until they’re asleep) helps them to nod off - it’s more the staying asleep that was the issue for mine! I’m not one for teaching my babies to fall asleep on their own at this age, but it all depends on your own parenting style/beliefs!
My daughter is 2 and has been napping in her cot since 5 months, I now LIVE for the very rare contact naps with her 😂
