Baby monitors ??

I have four kids and have never used a baby monitor, so I don’t think they are essential. My babies always slept in my room, so I was nearby and could hear them as soon as they woke up. For daytime naps, they were on me in a baby carrier/wrap/sling, or occasionally asleep in a pram that I could wheel from room to room, wherever I went. Obviously it is up to you what you do with your baby, and whether you choose to get a baby monitor. Just thought I would put it out there that it may be an expense you can avoid, if you think it would suit you to do things that way. All the best

For this baby we got the owlet sock with camera.
For our first we had a BP speaker to hear her and used a ring camera. We bought a ring security set for the house and it came with a camera - the quality on it is brilliant 🤣
She is 4 and we still use it in her room sometimes, if she’s playing upstairs and it’s a little noisy or too quiet 🫣 it’s good to check she’s not up to no good. It is also useful at night if she’s making a lot of noise we can quickly check she’s ok without going in and disturbing her potentially.
