Hi!
My baby has had her first lot of jabs today, how did everyone else’s baby cope!?
I just feel like i’m over stressing, and in reality she is probably fine! i offered her 120ml and she’s only taken 40ml is this normal!? I’m unsure what to do as she sleeps through, obviously dream feeds are a thing, but is there anything I can do? Apart from keeping her calpol topped up every 4 hours?
Thanks In Advance🩷xxx

My little one is having hers next week! I’m absolutely petrified. But I know when I’ve spoken to my gp, she’s said multiple times when I’ve told her she’s gone from drinking 5oz to 3oz, she said she feed her little and often so you know she’s having fluids. I’d be more worried if she wasn’t feeding at all. I’m sure you’re doing an amazing job lovely. If you’re worried maybe speak to your gp or health visitors? They may have advice on it?xxx

My little boy had his on Wednesday and it has totally thrown him. He’s not been feeding as well either but my gp told me this was to be expected, as for a few days they will be all out of sorts. Try not to panic though as I’m sure they’ll be back to normal in a few days time. You’ve got this lovely 😌 xx

Mine has his on wed and he was so poorly and uncomfortable till the following morning then seemingly back to normal. Mine was the opposite of sleepy and his temp spiked to 38 so i was giving Calpol and having tepid baths to try and bring his temp down. He also slept with a damp muslin on him that night/morning when we finally slept

My little two are both having there’s today. Glad I have read this so I know what to expect. Try not to panic my doctor said this is normal behaviour after jabs xx

My little girl had hers on Wednesday and wasn’t feeding as much that day/night then back to normal the next day. She’s breastfed though but I’m sure it still applies. I wouldn’t worry too much as long as still having wet/dirty nappies x
