False positive or chemical pregnancy?
Has anyone ever experienced this- I am regular like clock work and actively trying for baby 2. I started getting spotting Tuesday morning which I do sometimes get the day before a period.
Left it and didn’t come on (predicted Weds/ Thursday) so decide to take a pregnancy test Thursday which was positive.
Last night I started getting pains and noticed a bit of bleeding. Today it has just continued with clots this
morning and realised this is now a period.
I just don’t know what to think whether I just had a false positive to begin with or for whatever reason it was a chemical miscarriage & happened quickly as apparently it happens week 4/5.

Happened very similar to me when I was trying for number 1. I think it may be a chemical pregnancy, so sorry.
For me, I had very light pregnancy test on the day my period was due, it got slightly more dark and showed on a digital but then went back down and finally showed negative one week later. I then had a period like bleed with a few clots which happened at 5 weeks pregnant.
After a chemical, you can technically start trying again, but whenever you are ready xx

It’s so hard isn’t it as how do you definitely know & I didn’t even know this was a thing!
My HCG have clearly dropped substantially already to get a negative pregnancy test if it was 😩 it just feels off for me so I feel like potentially so too.
