Follow on milk after 6 months?

There are laws preventing the promotion of first infant formula and sales/discounts. This doesn't apply to stage 2 so it is sometimes cheaper, you can also gain points when buying it and use vouchers etc. they are very very similar to first stage. It's up to you whether you change. Some people say first stage is more heavily regulated so they would rather stick to that
