Did anyone else experience severe pelvic pain? Mine started around 23 weeks after traveling on an airplane for several hours and has proceeded to get worse. My midwife says it’s normal and so I don’t worry much but I never know what will trigger it to be worse and there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot that makes it better. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to help relieve the pain?
It’s so strange because if I bend over to tie my shoes or even pull up my pants it’s a shooting pain. If I walk too much or too fast I have lots of pain. I think the worst is if I lift something from below my hip level even if it’s just 5-10 pounds I have shooting pain.
For reference I am 5’5” and was 105 before baby and now at 25 weeks am 140 so maybe just the weight gain and having a small frame is causing a lot of the stress on my body and pubic bone/ pelvic bone. I also know my bump is pretty big but I’ve heard bump sizes will be different for everyone.
I just want to know if there’s anything I can start trying to do to relive the pain so I can keep living my normal life without worrying about being in too much pain to go do something. Especially since it’s summer and there’s so many fun activities that require a decent amount of walking.

Yes, same. I’m seeing a physical therapist starting next week

Yes mine started really early on. I saw a physio which helped but sadly didn’t prevent it. In the end I ended up bed bound for 2 and half months. The physio really helped and kept me going for awhile with good exercises x

Omg YES! Almost exactly
situation as you, I am 5’5 and was 110lb before and I’m also 14b at 25 weeks. Not only my public bone but my lower back and my legs and feet are swollen constantly! I think my body is just like wtf is happening!?

*140lb at 25 weeks

Any severe pain is not normal love. Please mention this to your provider! I think round ligament is normal, but even that isn’t a severe pain. Praying all is well 🙏🏾

For a Physio and a chiropractor, do you need a referral? I have PPO.

Yes when I walk a lot. Prenatal yoga helps
