I don’t know if I’m looking for advice or venting but I’ve had these weird episodes happening for the past two months where I’ll feel like I’m gonna pass out randomly and get so lightheaded I have to stop what I’m doing and lay on the floor. I’ve gotten blood tests done that show nothing abnormal. During this period I feel like I’ve been the worst mom. I’m irritable and I’m quick to give my little screen time due to not being able to get up and play with him like before. I feel hopeless. I don’t want to just throw him in front of a screen for most of the day or be an awful parent but it’s just me here. Sometimes I can’t even cook due to these episodes. I’m not sure what I’m looking for here. I just feel like an awful mom right now.

Hi I am sorry to hear that, it sounds like u are having bad anxiety and just are overwhelmed and maybe a bit of a panic attack. I have had this happen to me. You are an amazing mom and we all go through stuff and struggles. I would talk to ur doctor about maybe some medicine to help if it is anxiety. And remember panic and anxiety comes in all different symptoms. Everybody is different. I hope this helps a little bit.

Oh mama 🩷
You are not an awful mom. The fact that you recognize this being something bigger than just an episode shows that.
As a mom of 4 boys (2 bio, 2 bonus), I get overwhelmed, overstimulated and touched out. Before, when it was just me and my 2 boys, I would shut down during that period and turn on a show for my kids then fall asleep because it’s the only thing that made it stop- it sounds terrible, but it’s the truth. I messaged my doctor one day and told her how I felt, especially as a single mom of 2, working full time and struggling to balance everything. The doctor worked closely with me for a long time to find the perfect regiment for me. It’s a slow but steady process and choosing you is the best way to be the mom that our babies deserve.
You’re doing an incredible job mama!

Is it random? Is it when you stand up or get out of bed ?

Sounds a lot like my POTS episodes. Maybe see a cardiologist about it. Good luck. ♡
