FTM here and just curious when you started implementing books into your nighttime routine. I have a 4 week old right now and i find it hard adding it into our routine for bedtime. We start to wind down around 745 with a bath then we take him out and he’s hard to get calm enough to add a book in before booby and bed.
745 bath
8 booby until baby goes to sleep

I started with book around 6 weeks… I only do a full bath once a week and sponge bath as needed.. but you could try book before the bath?

You could always try to have the bath a little earlier, maybe 730? Or even read while you're feeding! I actually started reading/singing nursery rhymes at first, then moved to books a little later on. Whatever works best for you and baby in your routine.

Probably not until my little boy was closer to 1. Just because I was too tired & I actually didn't realise how important it was to do from a younger age.

We don't read at bed time.. we read any time but it's not part of our bedtime routine.
