My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 14 months. We’ve had two chemical pregnancies and I worry it’s not in the cards to have a biological child. Before you say it’s early, I know that logically but the two losses were devastating because I’d love to be a mom. I wondered when people decided they should foster or adopt? I always wanted to adopt my second but wondering if and when I should think of doing it sooner than what I’d planned. How did you know you were ok/ready to adopt instead of trying to do it biologically? Was it a difficult journey?

I don’t think there is a too early to adopt/too late to adopt - it’s very personal. For us, I always quite liked the idea but after trying for a few years we moved to adoption and haven’t looked back. If you have a heart for adoption, I’d find out more and go from there

My husband and I have been ttc for about 3-4 years now. He’s 30 and I’m 29, our next step is to apply to adopt while doing our first rounds of IVF at the same time.
