Pram

Are anyone’s little ones in the seat part of a pram yet? If so which pram do you have? My lb won’t entertain the bassinet part any more but the seat just isn’t supportive enough and he’s constantly slouching so I’m constantly having the push him around in his car seat which isn’t ideal 🙃

An Insert helps with the bigger pram xx

Avatar

Yep, changed it over last week as he got too big for the bassinet.
I’ve got an Ickle Bubba one it lies down, so he’s all good in the seat lying down, and still facing my way. He’s getting so curious as well now, so he is enjoying seeing more than just the sides of the bassinet 😄

Thankyou , do you have a specific one you use? Xx

thankyou! He hates lying down now and would rather sit so will try this before going for a complete new pram xx

Yeah I moved baby over at 4 month as she wouldn’t lay flat 🤣 silver cross reef 2 and I got a sheepskin liner which is really good for comfort and also regulating their body temp x

Yes. Suitable from birth. Been using since 1 month +. Also silver cross reef 2 x

I have the mamas and papas Occaro and recently switched the the pushchair instead of carrycot. It has different back positions: upright seat, reclined seat, fully flat; we’ve not used the upright seat yet as he isn’t able to hold himself but he loves it in the reclined position cause he can lay with more of a view and nosy at everything 👀

Bassinet to Crib

My LO is 10 weeks and growing fast! She has already doubled her birth weight and is “tall” I know I’ll have to transition her to a crib. She currently sleep beside our bed in her bassinet. Curious - when and how did that happen for your LO? Did you move crib into your room? Sleep in their room to ease with the change?

Bed sharing mamas - set up??

So I am bed sharing with my baby. It’s the only way we get sleep. She is now practicing standing and is super mobile. I feel on edge that she will fell of the bed.

How do you guys do it? Push the bed against a wall? Have you got some covers on the side . Share all your tips x

Don't understand the white soft play trend

Is anyone else confused why there are so many white/cream soft plays popping up everywhere. Visually they are so dull and not stimulating for a child. I would never pay the ridiculous prices they ask (more than normal soft play)

How can I get enough sleep 😴

My 11 month old has never been a great sleeper. He went to bed at 8:00pm last night. Me and my partner tidied up and went to sleep at 9ish. Baby still wakes 3 times a night and can take a while to resettle. My partner wakes up at 5 for work and he is also very tired.

He often wakes up close to my alarm too (when working). My alarm was set for 6 and baby woke up at 4:30. He only went back to sleep in his cot at 5:30. Meaning there is no time for me to go back to sleep and my day has started at 4:30.

Even when going to bed at 9, I still cannot catch enough sleep to get me through the day. I am 14 weeks pregnant and the tiredness is hitting me hard.

Are nursing bras worth it?

Pregnant with my first I do plan to exclusively breast feed. I definitely don’t want pads or underwire. Are nursing bras with the front hooks worth it or do yall just pop a boob our the bottom of a bralette?

Do you make your bed ?

I don’t mean first thing in the morning, but after you’ve aired it out, do you take a moment to make it properly? Even just folding the duvet back neatly and straightening the sheets?

I can’t stand leaving a bed unmade. I genuinely don’t understand how people go about their day without sorting it out first.
