Hi everyone!
I had a growth scan today at 32+4 and baby is measuring at 4lbs8oz.
They said this is ‘normal’ but Google is telling me that’s pretty large!
I know growth scans are only an estimate but curious to know how much was everyone’s else little one weighing at that gestation?

They should have given you a percentile for fetal weight which will give you an idea of how baby compares to others of the same age. I believe you'd be around the 50th percentile.

At my 34 week growth scan baby was 5lb

At my 32 week scan baby was 5lbs 1oz. That is 99th centile. So being 4lbs 8oz would prob put you 60th ish centile I would say? Which is a lovely healthy size baby, definitely not big to worry about :)

I’m 32 tomorrow had scan last week I was at 4ib2 don’t ever go by Google! Xx

I had a growth scan at 28 weeks and baby was 3lbs 5oz and on the 97th percentile. So, we got booked in for another growth scan today. She is now measuring 5lbs 6oz at only 32 weeks and still on the 97th percentile. I was advised there is no worry at present as she has not gone above the 97th percentile. Although she is measuring big, she is growing at the rate they would expect between appointments. I was also worried due to what I had seen on Google but after today my mind is at ease. There would be more concern if your little one was measuring under weight but seems like they are healthy and thriving🥰 I know it can be difficult to stay calm after what we can read online but if they had any concerns they’d let you know

31+4 mine was 5lb but she is large. Jumping between 98th / 99th centile

I’m carrying twins who are usually naturally smaller than singletons and at 32 weeks one is measuring 4lbs 7oz and one is measuring 4lbs 1oz. So I wouldn’t worry - sound like a perfectly average weight! I believe my 4lbs 7oz baby is on the 61st percentile :)

also have twins coming, only 3lbs each but also in the normal range xo

30 weeks 4lb 7oz. Wouldn't worry!

At 32+5 my baby was 4lb 6oz. This is 34th percentile according to the print out in my notes! The sonographer said baby is on track to be 7lb 12oz at birth
