Can’t decide! If you have either or both please let me know your thoughts! Really want something that’s compact for airplanes etc but something that will last abroad and for at least a couple kids!

We got the Joolz cos it lies flat a little more, honestly no regrets, we got it when my little one was 6 months and we haven't even used the big pram since, it's super sturdy and so easy to use. He's 2.5 now and we can still put him in it easily

We have the Joolz Aer and LOVE it. Baby seems super comfy in it and love that it lies flat and has a large hood so he can be cosy for a nap. Also it’s cabin approved so you can bring it on the plane

We rent travel prams so I’m familiar with both.. I’d say these are the 2 best premium cabin strollers so honestly I think you’d be very happy with either. Both lie flat, push really smoothly, have a large hood and feel premium. I’d probably choose the Joolz Aer 2 as I find it folds a little more compact and is lighter, so easier to carry x
amazing! And do u find that the wheels are great in both as I really want this to last, I read that the wheels in bugaboo are a bit bigger and sturdier? Xx

i really want the Joolz. I’m just weary of spending so much money and being refused cabin entry as I’ve heard from other people. Have you guys had experience travelling with the cheap airlines like easyJet, wizzair, ryanair?

I love our Joolz aer 2. Ryanair would not allow it on plane under any circumstance despite it being cabin approved. Offered to pay extra luggage etc was still a no.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, quality wise I preferred the look and feel of the joolz aer 2 and the fact you can attach the car seat to it which means you can use taxis abroad easily, not sure if the butterfly does this. However the silver cross jet lays flat and allows the car seat to be added, and is cabin approved but is £200 cheaper!

I've just come back off holiday with the butterfly 2 and absolutely loved it! So light and easy to push, my 3MO loved it! The annoying this though even with it being sold as cabin approved TUI made us put it in the hold (didn't even bother trying on the way back). We bought the travel bag with it which made it even easier to carry.

Just a side note about cabin approved prams guys (from a travel agent)- this only means they fit in the lockers, it doesn’t mean they can go on for free. They are classed as the same size as a carry on suitcase which most airlines charge for now. That being said if you fold it down prior to boarding and the airline isn’t checking exactly what cabin baggage you’ve paid for, you may get away with taking it for free, but always be prepared it may need to go in the hold if you haven’t pre booked it on, unless it’s long haul where most airlines let you take a carry on case for free xx

I’ve only done a long haul flight that allowed us to take the pram in the cabin for free. gave a v useful comment above - looks like maybe you need to prepay to take it in the cabin on cheaper airlines. I’ve heard you usually can take the pram to the plane gates and then they take it from you to store in the hold, so you could still use the pram in the airport up until then I guess. We also used a baby carrier around the airport which was so helpful
