My baby boy is 4 weeks old today, and due to several reasons, including low milk supply, he has mainly been bottle-fed until now. As a result, he has developed a preference for the bottle and now refuses to latch and breastfeed. I really want to transition from bottles to breastfeeding, but every time I offer the breast, he hysterically screams and turns away.
Can anyone please recommend tips on how to make this transition?

Theres a thing called a nipple guard that you can buy on Amazon I’m pretty sure. The hospital gave me one while I was breastfeeding the day she was born & truthfully they told me not to use it if I didn’t want her to get confused with my nipple & a bottle. I’ll post a pic of it so you can see what I’m talking about, but that should definitely help him to think it’s the nipple on the bottle & he’ll latch hopefully.
