Nursing cover

Does anyone have a nursing cover they love? I've been using thin muslin blankets, but it's such a pain to keep them where they need to be and I always end up flashing the room 😅 It needs to accommodate hot weather and a hot baby as much as possible as well as allow me to look at him.

Totally! I just wrap it around my neck and call it good. Only time you would use the back strap is if it was like windy and didn't want it flapping around in the wind. But even then I just tuck it under my arm or sit on it. Target has them too!

I second this!! I have one from my first baby, and using it again with my 2nd. Well worth the cost! It’s such a nice breathable cover in the heat!

I’ll second the cocoon. I like that I can wear it as a scarf too or use it as a blanket.

It’s opaque enough that I felt comfortable nursing in uncomfortable situations but also breathable.

They’re expensive, but I found mine on FB marketplace.

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?
