Advice please! My 6m baby has started spitting up more than she used to, is it a formula issue or bc she’s teething??

My baby was born 6w early, so she spent the first month of her life in the NICU, and they put her on Similac Neosure. Now, since day 1, she has always done this grunting/ straining thing, like she was always trying to poop, but it didn’t seem to be bothersome so we let it go. Then when we brought her home, she was ok for awhile but then she would start crying and screaming, like she was in pain, so her ped put her on Similac Alimentum, and that seemed to help with the pain and eventually the grunting and straining lessened.

But we just got on WIC and the formula provided is Enfamil, not Similac. We were ok trying it out tho bc we’d thought about changing anyway due to cost and…well, the smell, it was just awful. So we switched her to Enfamil Gentlease and she feeds on it perfectly, seems to like it, her previous issues didn’t start back up or anything so we thought, great! But she started spitting up a lot. Way more times than she used to. It doesn’t bother her any but it’s hard to keep her or myself or the furniture clean now.

But, this all coincides with her starting to teeth, and I know things can change a little then, with feedings and such. Like, her drooling is just out of control, and she never used to drool at all.

My bf says, she’s a baby, babies spit up, and I get that, and I get I have no point of reference as I’m a FTM, but why the sudden change? And why so much? Keeping her still after a bottle doesn’t work, almost as soon as you move her she spits up, and then does it again 5 or 6 more times.

Is it the formula?? Or the teething?? Has anyone else had this issue?

My baby had reflux that started to settle a couple months ago then all of a sudden started spitting up more a couple weeks ago as her lower teeth are coming in. I read that teething can cause it to happen

It’s normal in babies this age, they’re swallowing saliva and it can cause a bit of a upset stomach

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲
