Doesn’t sound like pelvic pain she. That sound slime round ligament pain which is horrid but very normal! I wouldn’t worry unless you get bleeding that’s the only time to worry with them kind of pains. That gestation your uterus is growing rapid xx

yeh i was thinking it does sound normal i just never had it with my first pregancy i cannot walk at all😂

I’ve got it with both. Currently too aha. If it comes with other symptoms like bleeding or spotting or even possible water leak then call PAU/MAU but yh dw about it babe just take paracetamol if needed xx

I had pelvic girdle pain / Symphysis pubis dysfunction when I was pregnant with my first. I physically couldn’t walk I left work in the second trimester, my hips/pelvis felt like it was on fire, like the bones were crushing and grinding against each other. I couldn’t roll from one side to another in bed without screaming. It was excruciating and honestly hard to even describe the level of pain I felt. I was sent to physio and given a support belt, neither helped. I ended up being induced early because of it. I would say if it’s anything like that then maybe contact your midwife for advice because it does only get worse the bigger you get! I’ve been told I’ll likely get it again and maybe worse (idk how that’s possible😭) this time but 17 weeks myself and nothing yet😭🤞🏼

I had it at 30+ with my first but had it so bad since 14 with this one! Xx

I’m 17 weeks and feel like I’m struggling a bit more now with the pains, I also have terrible trapped wind I know (TMI) but it’s all in my chest as well, as I am unable to relieve it and terrible indigestion 🤮

I’d reach out to GP to rule out UTI

Avatar

this was kinda in my mind has when i did my last urine sample midwife asked if i had any symptoms towards a UTI and i said no as wasnt feeling like this. It does hurt more when i pee or laugh x

I had a similar pain regular and I went to hospital to get check with reduced movement on Thursday and I mentioned it and the lady said it’s probably the baby moving from in your pelvis us but if it happens again to take paracetamol and if that doesn’t help to then get it checked just to be safe x

Bottom of stomach could be PGP on the pelvic bones. That would cause pain. But this sounds like a UTI - utis can be extremely painful during pregnancy

Go and see an osteopath or women’s health physio they can give you actual hands on help x

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
