And body just tired and feel alone. I’m a mother of 4 and I do mostly everything for my children by myself. I don’t have any family or friends and I feel like I’m the only one feeling this way. I’m so depressed it’s hard to even function. I am on medication and it isn’t working. I’ve tried so many and it sucks feeling like I will never feel better. This year has been really hard for me. I lost my only sibling a few months ago and I just haven’t been the same. I wish I had people around me who actually cared. I feel so broken, I’m in therapy but it’s not enough. Anybody else feeling this way?

I just want to say I really hear you in this, and I’m so sorry you’re going through so much right now. Carrying the weight of raising four kids mostly on your own while grieving your sibling sounds incredibly heavy, and it makes complete sense that you’d feel exhausted and broken down. You’re not alone in feeling this way, even if it seems like it sometimes so many of us struggle quietly with that same sense of overwhelm, loneliness, and not being able to find the right support.
It’s awesome that you’ve kept trying therapy, medications, and still showing up for your kids each day, even when it feels impossible. That’s not small, that’s strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.
I know nothing can replace having real people by your side, but please know that sharing here matters, and people care about what you’re going through. You deserve rest, compassion, and support just as much as anyone else.
You are not alone!

I’m sorry. Keep trying meds. Took me years to find meds that work. Follow Sadie Golden on Facebook and Instagram. She’s been super helpful. A lot of your depression is probably circumstantial too.
