Please help me. My son has been struggling so bad in between this teething stage and independent sleeping. He’s always irritable at night and will take up to 2 hours for him to go back to sleep when he wakes up in the middle of the night. I’m struggling so bad and i’m so sleep deprived that i’m starting to lose my mind. I feel bad that almost nothing is helping him. Tylenol, motrin, teething tablets, co-sleeping… nothing. And it makes me feel so guilty to say it but i want my bed to myself 😪 this is the only place i can rest and feel at peace but we are constantly waking up in the middle of the night for hours at a time and i feel like i can’t do it. I feel so guilty for being overwhelmed but we are legitimately struggling and i don’t know how to help him. 💔

I just found my baby doing this crying so bad and I couldn't do anything. I ended up finding out she's growing her molars I'm giving her teething gel and I give her her regular tooth brush and she usues it to self sooth. Its the only thing that's helped her and teething toy that you freeze but mainly the tooth brush

Literally up with my 13 year old now. She wakes up screaming and has another bottom tooth coming in and u think her back molars are cutting. We’ve tried everything to help soothe the pain. She is sleep trained and this past week she continues to wake up between 12 and 2 am and taking about an hour to get back to sleep. She doesn’t want to go back into her crib either, we are struggling with this sleep regression

There isn't anything you can really do but comfort him. You can't imagine the pain that he is going through.
Try not to give him medication too often, its not great for their stomach. You have to keep in mind his little body is growing so rapidly. His bones are growing, his skull is growing, his teeth are shifting. His poor little body is enduring amounts of pain that we can't fully understand.
I am dealing with the same right now. But I am doing my best by keeping myself hydrated, eating well, and napping when my partner is home, even if it's at odd hours. Sometimes, I will nap at 5 p.m. for about 30 minutes, and it has been helping drastically.
This will fly by, I promise. Just hold your baby close and know you are the only thing that can create comfort for them.

Also, I have noticed on the nights I cant get him back to sleep after a solid 30mins he is hungry.

Mommy bliss teething gel!
Vibrating octopus teether!
Also try feeding if it’s that long being awake.

we use the gel it doesn’t do much but thank you

definitely other brands also but that octopus has helped my girls and they both struggle with every tooth every time.

thank you! what brand octopus teether did you get? Nuby?

yes nuby

Kendamil probiotic helped my son so much. He slept perfectly until 4 months old and started teething after that we went through the same thing, I work full time so I was sleep deprived and it got really hard , he did get better after the 9th month but we started giving him the probiotic in his milk everyday. Best of luck to you and the baby , it does get better!
