Must-haves for first birthday?
If you have a low budget due to your financial situation, what are your must-haves if you're throwing a party of sorts for your baby?
Gifts? If so, just one? What kind?
Smash cake or something similar?
Cake/ice cream for guests?
Decor? If so, what kind?
I know I'd like to get at least one gift, and I know Christmas will be here in no time, we might be a bit better off by then.
As far as decorations, I was thinking maybe balloons and streamers. I'd also like to have some pictures of him throughout the year up if I can, maybe clothespinned to the steamers.
I'd like to do a smash cake, maybe just a cupcake out of a batch or two. I wanted to also do chocolate covered pretzel sticks and a fruit tray at least, but I'm on the fence about those.
