What baby wash/moisturiser do you use?

My almost 5 week old baby gets such dry skin after a bath, I’ve used just water and also aveeno sensitive wash and every bath just really dries her skin out, especially in torso and face. What is every using that you can recommend?

I use Nala’s baby in vanilla cloud as I’m obsessed with the smell. My girl has dry patches on her arms and I’ve noticed they’re going away since I started using it. I also used Aveeno but it didn’t really help. Nala’s baby is currently on offer at Boots and Sainsbury’s and is suitable for newborns x

Mustela body lotion and washing gel.

I’ve used Aveeno since birth and he’s 3 next month. Briefly used child farm here and there too when family member bought him the Bluey one

I use aveeno lotion after the bath works a treat

At this age they only need a bath once a week. I recommend mustela

Nalas baby. But I would use coconut oil after the bath first

Natural olive oil and I put breast milk in bath water too.

We use Childs farm. At 5 weeks I only bathed him once a week and only in water, then used the childs farm moisturiser. I use the Yuka app which is handy for food/cosmetics regarding ingredients etc.

We use oilatum night time bath foam

If you live in a hard water area it might be worth getting a filter for the bath. We got this one (https://amzn.eu/d/hY5KIw4) after one twin had dry skin after their bath and we've never had a problem since, I don't need to use cream but have used weleda calendula for massage occasionally.

I use oilatum in her water, then aveeno, try to get kokoso oil from boot. It’s so good for moisturizing skin

Weleda Calendula Baby - we have the whole set, shampoo, body wash, lotion, nappy cream, etc. Very happy with it.
I also use organic tallow (tallow, bee's wax, Shea, chamomile ) for his skin that's amazing, he loves his baby massages with it.

My little one has a touch of eczema so I did not want to risk any soap till 7weeks (used just water and coconut oil till then) but just started using the the Lipikar cleansing oil from Laroche-Posay and it seems to agree with him. It's pricey, but we use such tiny amounts (hair and ket areas), the bottle will last forever.

Boy night time diapers

Hey boy mommas! I have a 5 month old tomorrow and for the past couple nights, he’s started peeing through his diapers at night and soaking his clothes. Any suggestions on the best night time diapers for baby boys who pee a lot?

Bassinet to Crib

My LO is 10 weeks and growing fast! She has already doubled her birth weight and is “tall” I know I’ll have to transition her to a crib. She currently sleep beside our bed in her bassinet. Curious - when and how did that happen for your LO? Did you move crib into your room? Sleep in their room to ease with the change?

Next to me crib

Is my baby growing out of her next to me? She’s 4.5 months old and I’m not ready to put her in her own room yet (I know should wait until 6 months anyway) but is she still okay in this crib?

Bed sharing mamas - set up??

So I am bed sharing with my baby. It’s the only way we get sleep. She is now practicing standing and is super mobile. I feel on edge that she will fell of the bed.

How do you guys do it? Push the bed against a wall? Have you got some covers on the side . Share all your tips x

How can I get enough sleep 😴

My 11 month old has never been a great sleeper. He went to bed at 8:00pm last night. Me and my partner tidied up and went to sleep at 9ish. Baby still wakes 3 times a night and can take a while to resettle. My partner wakes up at 5 for work and he is also very tired.

He often wakes up close to my alarm too (when working). My alarm was set for 6 and baby woke up at 4:30. He only went back to sleep in his cot at 5:30. Meaning there is no time for me to go back to sleep and my day has started at 4:30.

Even when going to bed at 9, I still cannot catch enough sleep to get me through the day. I am 14 weeks pregnant and the tiredness is hitting me hard.

Don't understand the white soft play trend

Is anyone else confused why there are so many white/cream soft plays popping up everywhere. Visually they are so dull and not stimulating for a child. I would never pay the ridiculous prices they ask (more than normal soft play)
