First time mama to be and feeling super overwhelmed with the amount of prams available. I’m looking for a bundle (bassinet, stroller and car seat) and have no idea where to start as there are so many to look at - all and any recommendations welcome!
Looked at ickle bubba, icandy, mybabie, joie, maxicosi ect xx

Second time mom , but I still don’t know what I’m doing because I can’t remember. Following

I had my heart set on the bababing but the nearest supplier to me was too far away and I said I wouldn’t buy without seeing it in person first. I’ve ended up going with the silver cross cove only because it ticked all of my boxes. Main one being I wanted the second stage part of the pram to fold with the frame to save boot space and just for ease. I did look at the Maxi cosi fame but found I got more with the silver cross like a 2nd stage car seat and 2 isofix bases for less money due to an offer being on at the time x

Depends on price budget and what is handy for you! Icandy and egg seem to be very ‘that pram’, definetely not dissing anyone for having them but they are very very expensive and are just as good as many other prams that aren’t as expensive. For our second I wanted to get a new pram but didnt want to spend huge money, I ended up getting the giggle 4 cosatto in the beige tone with rabbits (can’t remember the name of its shade) but I loooove this pram!!! It’s so beautiful and super handy! And it was £500 on sale!!! With car seat and isofix, it’s the best pram I’ve used personally. Maxi cosi car seats are great, I did buy one and then adaptors for the pram as a spare car seat, a lot of people would buy maxi cosi and then the adapters for the pram you get (make sure thyou adapters exist! They do a big range but always double check!) I used to have a ickle bubba and I wasn’t a fan in the end, I found the ‘toddler’ seat to not be long enough for my daughter and it wasn’t very comfy looking xx

You're looking for what is referred to as a travel system. I used silver cross for my little girls travel system and still have it to be able to use with our December baby. When we upgraded to a stroller we got a mybabie and its so lush and totally affordable. I would recommend speaking to your local mamas and papas store as they can talk you through the options, you get to try them all out amd see how you feel about them and you can walk away and have a think about it or find a better deal online for the one you want or evem colour. Baby stuff is super overwhelming and thats before they are here so dont feel like you're alone in this

I bought a Uppababy vista. It turns into a double, super durable (I raised 3 boys with it) and has a huge basket. Big wheels which make for great pushing (wheels come off if you’re tight on car space).
Loads of second hand ones around which I’d highly recommend as it’s the body and mechanism that you need.xx

Do not recommend Ickle Bubba. They’re not awful but they’re not great either. We’ve had ours for 7.5 months and have just bought a stroller because the Ickle Bubba is a hassle.
Plus, the Ickle Bubba car seat is not the best.

I just looked at multiple prams at the baby and toddler show today including mamas and papas, egg, icandy, maxi cosi, joie etc and decided upon the Silver Cross cove ultimate family bundle which includes everything. It’s so overwhelming with soo much choice but for now, I’m happy with this one but not due until dec to try it out x

Mamas and Papas doing good bundles. We went with their cybex bundle with the 360 isofix. Very good value for money and sturdy. Looks nice too!

I have a Bugaboo fox 5 and I LOVE it! We are at the bassinet stage right now, but it also has a seat for older babies and a Nuna car seat dedicated to the Bugaboo. It is quite a pricey stroller but very sturdy and I can truly recommend it.

We've gone for the Joie signature travel system. Was about £650 for everything. Haven't used it yet so can't review it, but after trying out a few in the shop, we both really like that one and its a great price. I was not about to pay over a grand for the egg or icandy!

I've got a Cosatto wow 2 travel system. I brought it for my first in 2022. It is still holding up together now and this will be our 3rd baby. I've washed all parts of it and it comes out the wash fine. My travel system chair still holds my eldest now and he's due to be 3 in December and weighs over 20kilos. We mainly got it as it holds up to 25kilos

As someone who’s been through more prams than what is healthy, I second to avoid ickle bubble. The low cost is what you pay when using in quality, convenience and overall experience. The car seats are an awful fit, the pram hoods are thin and let a lot of light in as well as being very short so they don’t really do much to cover and shade and honestly I think they’re a bit flimsy.
We’ve got a bugaboo donkey which does single to double. I do love it. It’s my favourite double I’ve had but I seriously dislike that it’s like a bucket seat that tilts rather than a seat which lies flat
Mamas and Papas Ocarro wins for me every time. Maxi cosi seats are fine, we have a cybex seat which I love and will now do baby number 3.
We got our Ocarro in the sale and bought the car seat and isofix separate. Worked out about £500 cheaper doing it that way than buying a new bundle
Marketplace is great for prams and they all come apart for fabrics to be washed anyway. If you go mamas and papas route

Route the offer a clean and service on their website which is fantastic. And if you do it still within warentee which the first time we did, you pay for the clean but any repairs are free! Even little things like they fitted a new basket net for me
It’s a heavy pram I won’t lie. But it folds in one, the seat lies flat, and boy is it robust. It has been abused and is still going strong. Nice big hood, thick material so it’s all dark but has enough vents to make breathable and a nice little flap to peep through
I LOVE it

I think there is no best brand. I think it's figuring out what you want from a pram.
Light? all terrain? compact or size doesn't matter? Parent facing or world facing? One hand hold or it doesn't matter? Those are the things I asked myself especially after I sold my initial pram after 2 weeks as I hated it.
Just a little side note, a lot of carseats that come with a travel set around a good fit or very safe. So that's something to keep in mind :)

A lot of my friends and family have always raved about Mamas and Papas Ocarro range.
We went to try their new model and it looks/feels amazing with everything we need including the built in travel cot (bonus!) but just on the pricey side for the bundle.

I bought an Occaro on Sunday it’s so sturdy, the package deal was great value and if you buy from Mamas and Papas you get a voucher back I got £265 to spend in store!
