Swaddling at 3.5 months?

My little girl is 3.5 months old and sometimes we still have to tightly swaddle her to get her to calm enough to sleep.. is this normal for anyone else? Technically she’s past the point where we should still be doing this and most of the time she sleeps on her back in a onesie or a sleep sack. But when she’s really upset nothing will calm her like a tight swaddle. Not a swing or bouncing or a hug or nursing. She just has to be swaddled and she falls right asleep and stays asleep. She turns side to side in the swaddle and eventually wakes up with the wrappings loose but I’ve never woken up to her entirely free and she still is up eating 2 times a night and sleeps in a bedside bassinet so we check on her frequently. I just feel like this is a little too long to be swaddled? She’s very small for her age and still has a strong startle reflex so I feel like maybe she just hasn’t reached the physical maturity as fast as others?

Mine is also 3.5 months old. I’m working on getting her comfortable with not being swaddled either. It’s a gradual process, but she’s still managing to sleep through the night.

My little one is 3.5 months (16 weeks tomorrow) and I want to say I stopped swaddling her 2-2.5 months ago. I work in childcare and we are not allowed to swaddle children in care. It is against licensing rules. So in contemplating sending my daughter to care I wanted to begin the transition to a sleep sack pretty quickly, in hopes that by the time we were to bring her to care she would be used to it. She sleeps great without the swaddle now and I want to say it was a fairly easy transition. I am impressed with how quickly she has adjusted.

My girl is 4 months and used to love to be swaddled and then it slowly turned into she didn’t want her arms just her legs so we will take a small blanket and tuck it from her waist down and she sleeps just fine like that

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
