Ever since that one month mark, she was smiling, around two months she started to hide her smile with her fists. Now I know a lot of people say they don’t got good hand control at this age, but she does. She also will hide her face, like she will dig it into me when she goes to smile. Suddenly as if she’s shy. Is this a new skill? Is this normal?

I believe it’s normal- my baby does this and she just turned four months. I remember my sons doing it too!

We were looking at this yesterday and it’s a combination of good social skills - so you smile at baby, they smile at you, then they know it’s ’your turn’ so look away. Also can be them feeling overwhelmed by the emotion and looking away so they have a moment to reset! My boy started doing it around the same time x

I think they must get comfort out of burying their faces into you, our LO has been doing this to me for a while, im forever digging her sleepy head out of my armpit and chest! Haha

My little girl does this too haha it’s so cute like they get all shy☺️

I love it🤣 my 4 month old does it I call it him getting overwhelmed with emotions to happy to handle😂😭
