Anyone else on the mini pill and get told that taking ibuprofen helps control the bleeding so you don't essentially have more than one period a month. I thought my body was used to it by now but I guess not. Also my OB mentioned its normal I guess for that to happen. Birth control honestly sucks, but thats just what I think.
Oh and anyone on it have the issue where if you get intimate then you start bleeding again a few days after?

I don’t think taking ibuprofen that often is safe… I might be thinking of another drug but this doesn’t sound healthy at all

They shouldn't tell you to take ibuprofen everyday for rest of your life! Maybe it does help though!

neither do I plus the onky time I can take it is bedtime otherwise I will be falling asleep during the day

my OB essentially told me to take it like every other day so that way I wasn't bleeding so often. I also have PCOS, not that in this instance thats important information but perhaps it is. The birth control helps with that but not with other things. Like my weight.

Ibuprofen works for bleeding yes, it's an anti inflammatory but if you want to drink more aloe water and get more time to exercise, that will have lasting effects!

I have recently started exercising more. I didn't know that about aloe water though.

Yes! Lots of things have anti inflammatory, even turmeric!

UPDATE: I was bleeding constantly because I had BV (treated it) and now in December my OB is scheduling a d&c. Since at my last appt she didnt see anything but there could be things she cannot see unless she checks out my uterus.
