Does anyone else LO hate the car seat still?

My LB is 10 months and still cries everytime in the car when he is in the car seat. I’m at my wits end. I’ve turned him forward to see if it makes a difference and it didn’t. Would love to know any advice how to get him to tolerate it. TIA

It can e tough sometimes. She’s ok if she’s not too tired, or so tired I can get her to sleep in the seat before leaving. I also find having a selection of interesting toys that she only gets to play with in the car helps! I have a pile of them on the from passenger seat so I can pass them back to her as she inevitably drops/throws whichever she has before!

I think legally in this country they have to be rear facing until 15 months old. So I think you could be stopped for this
Could you turn off your air bags and have him rear facing in the front so he can chat to you??

It's no more dangerous to have them rear facing in the front seat than the back (as long as your vehicle manual allows and the airbag is off)

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
