Help! We booked a holiday to Lisbon before we knew I was pregnant, and I’ll be 30 weeks when we fly.
Ryanair require a form to be filled out with a doctors stamp, however my midwife said this isn’t something they offer, paid or not (Royal Berkshire NHS Trust). Has anyone experienced similar and what did you do?

My midwife gave me a fit to fly letter which was accepted by easyjet. I know Ryanair have a medical form they want signed by a doctor but it might be worth calling them to ask if they will accept a normal fit to fly document - if they say yes to this, make a note of who you spoke to and the date and time. If not you may need to get a private appointment at your own cost to get this signed if your GP and midwife won't fill it out.

I got this from my GP in Canterbury, paid something like 35 pounds last year. Going abroad I was slightly under the no of weeks required but got it to be on the safe side and they did look at it at the counter as far as I remember, to make sure I'm not super pregnant lol. Coming back got it from a private hospital in Turkey following a scan as my first one would have expired and I would now be over the week criteria whatever it was. Flew maybe wizz not sure. Good luck 🤞

My midwife recommended zoomdoc for a fit to fly document. £50 & they offer next day services.

I wore a big jumper and just hid my bump I was 32 weeks. you can pay for private fit to fly letter if you Google it loads of companies come up my doctors and midwives also said they don’t do them anymore

My midwife said she would sign me one but the next appointment she was ill so I had someone else standing in but they said no, so we just hid the bump as it was the day before we were supposed to fly out

Your GP should do it, for a fee

I flew with Ryanair to and from Lisbon at about 26 weeks and they didn't ask for anything on the way out there when my bump wasn't visible (wearing baggy jumper) but were very interested on the way home when you could see it (wearing leggings)! Very thorough about how far along I was, ready my letter from the GP, asking if I was feeling ok today etc.
I do think if I didn't have the letter they have got funny!
It's £25 from the doctor though 😩
Good luck when them hills girl xxx
