Asking this question here is going to get you very polarized answers that come from people who feel passionately on both sides of the spectrum. I think the best thing to do is to do your research and then make informed decisions that align with what feels right for you and your child. You can also ask pharmacys and/or doctors for the written inserts that come inside the vaccine vials. They will share any of them with you, including MMR. I recommend reading those before moving forward with any. Good luck mama.

A doctor was paid a lot of money to falsify research that ties vaccines to autism. It is not true and he was charged as a result.

There is zero link to autism.

Vaccines are safe and effective at preventing life threatening illnesses. They are the best public health measure ever created.

If you are feeling vaccine hesitant please speak to your physician about the pros and cons of vaccines.

There was a ‘study’ done in the 90s on a very small sample of children which suggested a possible link. The study wasn’t peer reviewed, just published and has since been debunked. Research of hundreds of thousands of children has disproven his theory and he lost his license following the publication. Vaccinations do not cause autism, it’s genetic. However if you have concerns speak to your doctor. You can also pay privately to have the vaccines given as separate vaccinations rather than the 3 in 1 if that makes you more comfortable, however it is always worth remembering that these vaccines were created for diseases that kill children and when vaccination rates are high many of these diseases are almost nonexistent in the population but cases are currently rising again as vaccination uptake drops

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?
