FTM - might sound a silly question but should I sterilise my babies dummies at home before taking putting them in the hospital bag, or can this be done at the hospital? As I know they are only sterile for 24hrs after so will there be much point?🙈
Also 39+3 - anyone have any tips for getting things going? I have a sweep booked for Thursday but would love her to come naturally by herself!! Any inducing tips are greatly appreciated🩷

You can get Milton sterilising wipes x

If you have the mam dummies they stay sterile for 48 hours once sterilised in the container if you don’t take them out x

Pumping, curb walking, being intimate, spicy foods, raspberry leaf tea(make sure it’s the leaf one)!!

Might be worth asking your midwife if the hospital provides any sterilising equipment as mine had a Milton cold water steriliser in each room. Can also get Milton soother steriliser and there are lots of different mini uv sterilisers x

I’m going to take the Milton mini travel steriliser with me, just need the Milton tablets to go with it and cold water and the dummy’s will be sterilised after 15 mins. It’s also big enough for bottles too. The solution also lasts for 24 hours, it’s perfect for hospital 🤩 think it’s around £10 on Amazon so worth it for the future if you are planning on bottle feeding as well x

I leave mine on the side in the kitchen, then sterilise them when it's go time, using tommee tippee so only take 4 minutes through the microwave x

Also worth adding if you do use Milton you need to rinse off the liquid now x

Vital baby do a sterilising spray. I’m regards to getting things going I had acupressure on Thursday night. 2 hours later contractions started and baby was born 12 hours later x
