PP BO

Ok this is an embarrassing topic but I won’t post cognito bc its real.

What deodorant are yall using? I’m 8 mos PP and EBF and I feel like no deodorant works😩 I have always used mens but even that doesn’t help now. Any moms have the same issues and have found solutions? I’ve tried at least 4 or 5 different ones.

Edit to add: I don’t even get sweaty but my pits will smell if that makes sense? Idk if that will help with any input!

Mitchum roll on had started giving people chemical burns so avoid that!
I now use dove stick deodorant and that seems to work

I started using this around a month ago and it’s the only thing that’s worked for me! I rarely sweat at all with it and my partner has started using one too x

I use old spice powder deodorant seems to be the only one that works for me

I used mega babe for years but that wasn’t cutting it so I switched to wild and I like it a lot

Mitchums but also use glycolic acid toner on a cotton pad before hand and that’s really helped

I use Sure, but I put on in the evenings, mornings and sometimes mid-day.

So glad it’s not just me! 😅 I keep thinking that I’ve forgotten to put deodorant on but mine’s just not cutting it anymore… 😭

Lume has an all over body deodorant cream. It has helped tremendously.

I’ve used Mitchum wax for years! It is like glue but make sure to wash it off everyday as the build up is a bit nasty x

I'm getting really bad night sweats, when does this end ?? Lol

I saw the comment about old spice, that’s what I use, twice a day now 😭💀 once in the morning and directly after I shower.

I did some CRAZY research because I tried so many deodorants and nothing would keep me smelling half decent, not even ones I used for my last child. But what FINALLY works for me is washing my pits with antibacterial bar soap from Dial and then using secrets stress response deodorant after. It’ll keep me smelling good for a day and a half if I’m working out and running around, sweaty or not! I’ve been very impressed and I love the smell of the deodersnt, I haven’t smelled one like it before! Highly highly recommend from someone who’s been through the trudges there and back 😮‍💨

I don’t recommend lume, as I tried them and they were expensive and only lasted a few hours. Which was better than nothing but I needed 24 hour coverage at the very least. Sometimes I get away with 2 full days with my current routine in the comment above!

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?
