Ended up at triage the other day because I have really bad lower back pain and period like cramp in my stomach mixed in with soft stools and nausea which with my other 2 pregnancies meant labour was coming. As I'm classed as high risk because of low papp-a its been drilled into my head to contact them ASAP especially since I deliver really quick.
Anyways get checked over and all is fine and it's put down to "well its your 3rd pregnancy so its probably just the muscles so no lifting and lots of rest" my partner asked apart from my waters breaking (which they didn't for my second) how am I now going to notice the first signs of labour when this was the same pain as I had previously and their response was "well you'll just have to hope the waters go"
I'm high risk so can't give birth in a midwife led unit (which is 15 mins away), I deliver redic quick so getting to the hospital which is 35 mins away was already a concern to then be told that has made my stress and anxiety levels shoot straight up.
There's no real point to this post apart from to rant and get it all off my chest.

Iâm just sitting here minding my own business at 8 months pregnant and my toddler comes up to me and says âwho got you pregnantâ!!!
I looked at her like âwhatâ and she repeated herself so I said âher daddyâ! So she said âwhy did my daddy get you pregnantâ đł
So I said âI donât knowâ! She says âitâs fine I will call him and ask himââŠ. She grabs my phone calls her dad whoâs at work and he was sounded mortified, when she said âwhy did you get my mummy pregnantâ! I couldnât fully remember what he said because I couldnât stop laughing!!! Nothing can prepare you to be a parent to a toddler!! đđ

Im 40 weeks on Sunday and have a C-section booked for Tuesday. I donât want the section but because of previous C-section due to preemie baby Iâm not allowed to be induced - either by body goes into labour naturally or C-section :( - I have a needy toddler at home so would prefer natural in terms of recovery!
Please give me all your tips đđŒ
