Hello, any advice appreciated.
My 9 month old is breastfed, never had a problem. Since weaning she gets a rash round her mouth when eating dairy products. No other symptoms. I am currently trying to wean her off breast milk with formula. She’s having 1-2 bottles of formula right now. She isn’t well right now anyway, cold, congestion etc. so this may be related to that. But she has woke up with awful poo. She has been very gassy since formula too. She doesn’t seem in any discomfort. No rash when having the milk. But when I’ve looked online at baby’s poo with cmpa I’d say hers look kind of similar. Her poos are never usually like this, firm but soft since eating. So this is very unusual for her.

If this is the first yucky poop then I probably wouldn't jump straight to cmpa, baby poo is such a quagmire of a spectrum of what is considered normal. Personally I have 2 cmpa babies and their poos looked nothing like this, green, sticky, mucousy and occasional flecks of blood, but that's also not to say it's not either!
If she's having straight cows milk formula and doesn't generally have a reaction then it's likely not. It really is a process of elimination. Could just be that she's congested, swallowed lots of snot and had a loose movement. I'd watch and wait. If she's getting a rash from dairy products, it might be worth looking at the milk ladder and introducing dairy slowly to her and watching for any reactions (but then again if she's having straight up cows milk formula then that kind of solves that issue). Don't overthink it, if she's not in discomfort then it's ok not to stress, just watch and wait.
