I have never seen toes that bend this way, especially the left foot way more than the right. He walks fine, he is almost 4, so his doctor said to leave it. But should i see a specialist? He is autistic and i know sometimes autistic people can have abnormalities in their genes. We havent done the genetic testing yet but does anyone know of a syndrom or condition that could cause this? He is also speech delayed, has pronounciation problems with certain sounds/letters. He also cannot hold his saliva and is constantly drooling and spits a lot when he talks.

i had a crooked finger since i was born it looked pretty much like your son's second toe and when i was teenager it straighten out abit and looks so much better. i'm hoping the same for your son ❤️

I have! My hubby actually has toes like this, and BIL's are even worse! Haha
For them it seems like it's mainly a cosmetic thing as neither had issues with walking, running, playing sport, etc..

A visit with a functional neurologist might be super helpful for y’all!
(Look for one who’s actually a licensed MD or DO! & fully accredited, don’t just go with whoever ya see as an option first)

Yeah, it's weird. Also, because his sister's feet are fine 🤷♀️
I think you can get it corrected, but it basically involves breaking the toes to reset them. Neither of them had theirs corrected.
I just keep checking LO's toes hoping that she doesn't have it too 🤣

Do his shoes fit correctly? Maybe get one with a wide toe-box? I don’t think they look too weird tbh.

I'd do the genetic testing anyway just to know if there's anything worth knowing about in the future not necessarily because of the toes.
