Baby Planet Online - yes or no?

Has anyone bought from Baby Planet Online? I went to the Baby Show yesterday and purchased a mamas and papas pushchair as it was £140 less than in store. Once the receipt came through, I noticed I had not purchased it through mamas and papas but Baby Planet Online. I am feeling very silly as there were huge Baby Planet Online signs but also the stall I was at did say Mamas and papas and the employee even had a mamas and papas top on! Anyway, I’ve done some research and a lot of the feedback is negative? Has anyone had a positive experience with Baby Planet Online purchases? What warranty like? Was delivery/ the actual product okay? I have 7 days to return for a monetary refund, otherwise it’s a credit note! Thanks

I believe the prams, strollers, high chairs etc, anything plastic or metal are good. I’ve read it’s a lot of the wooden product that have had complaints x

I've bought my Cosatto travel system from them at the Sandown baby show and just awaiting delivery that's due Wednesday. The only thing I would say is be patient on contact for the delivery date x

Our buggy we ordered at the baby show took ages to arrive and that was after a lot of chasing. We got it in time but I personally wouldn’t use them again. My friend bought directly from their shop though and raved about them.

We bought ours from the baby show last year, same thing as Emily we had to chase them up for the delivery but that’s only because they apparently had the wrong details. Just make sure you keep the receipt and details just in case you need to contact them. Other than that we’re really pleased with our purchase and the bargain price we got the full travel system for x

We got most of our stuff from there like the nursery set etc. and the delivery and quality were good. Still using everything 2 years later

We had our travel system (cosatto) through baby planet at the baby show (with a £500 discount!) we had no issues. Everything was great. One piece was missing when it arrived as they didn’t have it in stock but it was sent 24 hour tracked as soon as it arrived in the warehouse and we had tracking emails updating us of it arriving and being dispatched

Baby clothes

Just out of curiosity, why do parents love zipper onesies?

Don’t get me wrong, I tried zipper ones it’s easy to zip in and out when putting it on the first time and taking it out, but I find it difficult when changing diapers especially when baby is asleep.

I prefer those kimono style buttons where it’s easy to button or too down button with crotch snaps.

Is everyone thinking the same or different? Lol

Dummy

My baby has had a dummy since about 2 weeks old (now 5 months) and over the course of the last month we weaned her off it during the day only for naps and night (which was fine) and then 5 days took it completely away during the day.

The first day no dummy was fine, the second bit rougher. But now it feels impossible she just moans and cries all the time it takes ages for her to go down to sleep (she’s always been an amazing sleeper)

I thought it was meant to get better as time went on not worse. I’m at my wits end I dunno what to do.

Currently typing this as she screams uncontrollably in the car and I cry with her cos I can’t do anything.

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Is this normal?

My 12m old is really funny with kids going near him, he’s always been this way, but anytime family’s kids sit next to him or head his way he moans or cries and moves away. He also really observes them and is never really relaxed, always looking over his shoulder. Has anyone experienced this? (He’s starting nursery properly tomorrow so hoping this helps) but is this normal?

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅
