Tula explore, lennylamb or Beco gemini

Hi
I really need to get out of house with my LO (4month old) more and she doesn't like our current carrier (babybjorn one air) and me neither! I've been doing a lot of research and found good reviews on these. Has anyone tried tula explore, lennylamb light or Beco gemini?

I absolutely love lennylamb, I find it so comfy and so does my 5 month old boy who is a chunk 😂
Not sure where you're located but have a Google for a local sling library and you can go and try them/hire them and see what you and bubs like before buying! X

I bought a Tula explore and waiting for delivery. I’ll let you know my review once I get it.

I've got a tula explore and much prefer it to the baby Bjorn we were using previously but I'd recommend looking on Vinted if you're not fussed about having new as I got one for a much better price on there!

Lennylamb out of those three! Much prefer the free to grow over the explore with a Tula!

We have a Lenny lamb light and love it! Baby boy loves sleeping in it too

I have a lenny light and love it! So comfy and easy to use. The only thing I’d say about the light is it can’t do forward facing and now baby is older she wants to look out and won’t really tolerate facing inwards anymore, so something to keep in mind!

Also I’m not sure where you’re based but you could go to your local sling library and try them out or rent one? Sheen Slings do rentals and post them out so even if you’re not based in London you could hire from Madeleine at Sheen Slings. She offers you a discount if you then choose to buy via her. That’s what I did - it was great!

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.
