Selling on Vinted

Baby clothes have been sitting in the closet for a while. They’re clean but haven’t been touched. Do you wash them if someone buys it on Vinted? We don’t have our own washing machine so it’s a pain but I imagine buyer would appreciate freshly washed clothes even if they’ll wash it again themselves.

I’d usually wash it but in your situation I would just explain that to the customer as to why you can’t 😊

I do usually wash it but whenever I buy something I wash it again anyways so don’t think it matters x

I wouldn’t bother. When I buy off Vinted I wash everything anyway before me or my baby wears them 😃

Avatar

I wouldn’t bother, buyers tend to wash them anyway before wearing

I wash everything I buy off Vinted before I wear it anyway. Mainly cos it smells like someone else 🤣

I buy alot on vinted for my daughters and soon to be new baby, plus maternity and I recieve things that have been stored and smell due to that, I never have an issue as I'm going to wash it anyway.

Avatar

I always wash stuff that I buy from vinted so I wouldn’t worry too much x

Avatar

I always wash what I buy, even if it’s new with a tag on it gets washed before worn.

Avatar

Nah, when I buy clothes from vinted I'd be washing them anyway

Avatar

Just say ‘been in storage will need a wash’ on description to cover yourself 🤷‍♀️

I haven’t sold on bunted for years but anything I part with- I wash. ANYTHING I bring into my home, new or otherwise I wash. Period.

Avatar

I’ve bought things that people have said will need a wash as been in storage.

Avatar

I wash everything that I buy on vinted!

Avatar

You don’t have to if it’s already clean and the customer will definitely wash it either way

Avatar

I wash them and then put them away while I'm waiting for them to sell... and I also wash them when I receive them, to avoid potential rashes to different washing powder and just in case they didn't wash them

Avatar

If they were washed and then in a cupboard I wouldn’t wash again. As a buyer I always re-wash anyway, so as long as they’re not dirty (or smell reallllly musty) then I’d leave them

Avatar

I wash thinking wash but I always wash anything off vinted anyway xx

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?
