Diet for gender swaying

I’m curious, from extensive research it seems that the only viable element we can control that may marginally sway gender is diet. And I mean, marginally. I am absolutely not convinced that anything has any huge impact, but this does seem to be the only thing that has studies that have since not been myth busted. I’m curious though, would anyone say that that have a high calorie, particularly salty diet, and conceived a girl?

After two boys who I completely adore, I would love to increase my chances of having a girl.

It’s all down to the sperm. The sperm determines the sex of the baby at conception.

I remember craving sweets and I thought I was gonna have a little girl lol I ended up with a cute little boy instead

My diet is/was the complete opposite and I had a girl 😅

Both my Pregnancies I have only been able to eat carbs and my only craving for both has been pizza. Last pregnancy I had a boy and this time I'm having a girl 🤷‍♀️ I loved bagels last pregnancy with my son I have had deli sandwiches in both my Pregnancies but I am loving chicken wraps this time around where as I use to vomit after having them when I was pregnant with my son. Long story short...my diet has been the same for both pretty much.

It’s depends on the sperm, nothing you eat with change that

It’s all a myth. The chromosomes are in the sperm and whatever sperm is successful determines the gender there and then at conception.

I had a high carb and salty diet for both my pregnancies. First was a girl, second was a boy. Unfortunately don't think the chances will heighten which sex you have based on diet alone. I think it is mostly pure luck with the sperm.

Aww I know the feeling, I looked into the same as my boyfriend family is mostly boys 😅.. the only think I actually saw is that if you conceived while the man is very stressed something affects the Y cromossome and you have more probability of having a girl 😅 may be just a myth but I did read it somewhere, that man in war have more probability of getting girls 😬

Just stress your man out 😂 Marines and such are famous for always having girls because of physical and mental stress

I'm the opposite, my go to snacks are often fruit, sometimes sweets but generally healthy snacks (I was born that way. I often would go and get raw broccoli to munch on rather than chocolate as a kid, weird I know) but, the only child I've birthed has been a girl x

I actually reduced my salt intake before I became pregnant with my daughter. My cravings were all sweet.

I’m sorry but no, there’s absolutely nothing you can do to increase your chances of having girl apart from doing IVF, testing embryos, and implanting an XX embryo. I conceived a girl and did not have a high calorie particularly salty diet 🤷🏼‍♀️

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
