am I overreacting?

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and feeling a bit disappointed. My husband can't make it to my ultrasound because he has a car appointment scheduled at the same time. The thing is, he could totally reschedule it (it would be the second time), but he feels bad about moving it again.
He's been amazing and supportive throughout this pregnancy, but missing this special moment really hurts. I feel a bit abandoned, even though I know he's been there for everything else.
Am I being dramatic? Would love to hear your thoughts!😖💕

If it's your first i can totally understand how you are feeling. Sometimes it doesn't work out and other plans get in the way but you can always have a private scan so he doesn't miss out. Or ask to move the scan if its not to late to rearrange?

My husband has to miss all the nhs scans as we can't take our 1year old into the room with us. So we will have a private 4d scan so my husband and son can be in the room and get to see baby.

Let him know how you feel.. make sure you elaborate on the “it’s just a car thing” hopefully he realize the significance of his child developing over his car. & no you not being dramatic id be the same way to lol. Is it an ultrasound appt?

I totally get it, since it’s your first baby. 💕

This is my third pregnancy, and I don’t mind going alone at all compared to my first pregnancy.

I hope he can find some time to go with you for the next scheduled ultrasound ✅

This is my first pregnancy and my husband is in the army so yes in the beginning when it was the unknown I was upset and nervous going without him but once I became comfortable and knew that I couldn’t have him with me but I like going alone instead of having him in my ear or asking the doctor questions that I can ask.

You can’t help how you feel but in all honesty I go to my growth scans alone! He comes to my midwife appointments and has attended some of the scans (we’ve had lots as I’m very lucky to be cared for by wonderful colleagues🩷) but I don’t feel the need for him to attend every time! Easier for him to not have to ask for time off work. How you feel is valid though and definitely worth telling him how it makes you feel x

My husband hasn't attended all of our scans and its perfectly fine, our 1st pregnancy was during covid so he couldn't attend most appts as they wouldn't allow it.
He was there for the birth which was the main thing

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
