Everytime my son has a nursery or school play he just freezes and almost sulks, he never sings or dances along with the other kids and he's always the only one doing this, its happened on 3 separate occasions now. Teachers tell me hes absolutely fine during class and rehearsals. As soon as sees me or dad in the audience, he gets happy at first but then just completely forgets everything and throws a strop, almost like he doesnt want us there. As much as I want to be there to watch him its really putting me off attending future performances. Is this normal?

To be honest, I think anything is normal at this age!
Strops, cries, anger! 😅 just think he won't remember you going when hes older but you'll remember going xx

Prob bit of stage fright and he's bit bashful. But sulking as he's 'annoyed' at himself for feeling this way ? I agree with Leanne though, he won't remember...... unless anything like my son who remembers everything. You will remember though xx
