How often is everyone giving Calpol for teething pain? My LO seems to really be suffering with teething at the moment (no actual sign of the teeth yet tho!) but I’m so concious about giving him Calpol more than one day in a row.
Thanks x

I've been giving nurofen as that seems to work better than calpol for my little girl she has two coming through, and she has been having it on and off before she goes to bed , x

My little boy had one cut through last week and I’d give it once at night time if he was crying before bed and chewing his hands. During the day I use the ashton and parsons teething gel stick and rub his gums which he seems to like but he seems to be ok in the day Xx

I only use it at night

Mine is currently having capol and ibuprofen every 4/6 hours the last week due to him having a horrible cold and teething, spoke to the doctor who said to carry on with both once hos Cold had gone if he looks like hes in pain, although its a horrible battle to get him to have it xx

No calpol just teething powders.

Nurofen works better than calpol as it’s anti inflammatory, you can also alternate every couple of hours so do one then the other 2 hours later. Obviously not every day but when you feel they really need it x

Only been giving nurofen at bedtime as that seems to be when it ramps up. During the day it's teething powder or gel.

I gave my little girl calpol as and when she needed it, I know they say not to give it a lot but I wasn’t willing to sit and watch her in pain as I could find any powders anywhere I never had her it constant just when in pain x
