I also have a midwife at sage midwifery. Her name is Samantha Sewell and she is lovely. Midwives provide, in my experience a much more holistic personal touch. Lots of gentleness and no rushing. That said Carolynn has been incredibly to me, I just don’t love that I wouldn’t be delivering with her - it would be a random doctor available they have that day - also I’m doing a home birth so there is that lol !

Sex
Completely lost my sex drive since becoming a mum. Last year we had sex once and I got pregnant 🤣.
We have 2 under 2 now.
We last had sex around 6 months ago - which induced labour 😃
I feel awful but I just never have the capacity for it, never crave it. Don't think it helps that I'm struggling with my body image.
My husband tells me constantly how beautiful I am & looks at me the same as he always has.
When we do it, its mindblowing & i think "why dont we do this more." But then I guess, life gets in the way.
I feel bad on my husband as we don't have any sexual contact but I almost feel sick at the thought of it.
It's not a reflection on him because hes fooooinnneeeee 😍 and i love him with my whole heart.
It's me thats the problem. I'm going to the gym & eating well to try lose weight. But what can I do to get it back within myself?

Petition: Make statutory maternity pay 90% of wage for first 12 weeks & minimum wage after
We believe mothers should never be forced back to work because maternity leave is unaffordable. UK SMP is among Europe’s least generous, falling to around 41% of minimum wage after 6 weeks. The Government should fix this and give mothers 12 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay at 90% of their salary.

Asking parents for money
How many people have asked their parents to borrow a bit of money to help in the last few months of maternity?
I’m down to £0 pay for the last 3 months and will be picking up an extra job next month but my friends suggested asking my parents to borrow a bit to help me and my parents have made me feel like this is unacceptable and I shouldn’t have asked them.

Feeling Alone.
Does anyone feel alone in their pregnancy? I have no support group and feel incredibly lonely. I want friends and family to chat with but everyone has been so dismissive of my pregnancy
