Only like one or two times the first week? 😅 Since then (ours is 19 months now) we change on the floor, changing her on a padded changing mat).

We had a changing table in our nursery but honestly we didn't use it and gave it away. His crib was in our room. We just have changing mats all over the house. He's 2 now

My baby is only 5 months but we still use ours everyday. We don't have a changing table as such though. We have her changing mat on top of a set of chest of drawers. I image we'll use it for some time yet. So much easier after a bath and stuff to not be kneeling on the floor. X

We use ours every day and my little boy is almost 10 months x

Never had or used one. Just changed on the floor, bed or sofa on a changing mat.

I used ours till baby was 4 months,my partner did until he was 5 months. He’s too wriggly and it’s just not safe to use it anymore - ours is quite tall and I’m quite short so I really struggled when he started moving
We put the mat on the floor and change him there x

Nearly 10 months in and still using it for every nappy change. It's the one place where she doesn't try and roll away and escape from being changed

Maybe like just over a year old

My son is 3 years old and we still have ours 😂. It acts as a shelf in our bathroom and when I get him out of the bath I lay him on it to dry him. It’s a bit small now but still working for us!x

Never used top of chest of drawers instead. Or bed or couch with changing mat. In the early days it was more about my back and not wanting to bend down.

Avatar

Never used or owned one, they seem awkward because you have to stand on the side? We’ve always just used an absorbent pad, and a padded one underneath when she was small

Avatar

We just have a mat on top of her chest of drawers. Still use it at 21months old. Thankfully never been a wriggler for changes and it’s a perfect height for getting dressed on too.

Little one is 19 months and still use it for every change! Best decision I made was getting a changing table. If we do try to change her any where else all he’ll brakes lose!

Avatar

We still use ours just over a year old, it helps with routine for him I think as he knows what’s coming; also means everything for changing is in one place rather than round the house. We have a dog and I had a section so changing on the floor / bed / sofa was never going to be a particularly sensible or comfortable choice for us x

Thank you everyone!

We have the keekaroo pad and still use it and shes 2

Avatar

I used mine until she never fit on it anymore x

Avatar

I have always used a cot topper bc of limited space, still using it for my 2 year old

Avatar

Im still using it at 2 years....

Avatar

With my first we definitely didn't use it past 6 months but I think I might have stopped before then. He was an extremely fidgety baby and it just felt dangerous using one. He was standing from 6 months and I ended up doing mostly standing changes with him- or chasing him around to change him from then on. With my second Ive never used a changing table and just used a changing mat on the floor.

With my oldest around 3 years when he started wiping his own bum while on the toilet. We still use it with my almost 20 month old.

Not drinking

I’m going crazy. Baby born at 2.26kg. Slow to put on weight. This last week hasn’t put on any. Been trying to feed him at night and he’s not interested at all. Fast asleep. During day he will have 5 minute gulps and that’s it. He don’t cry for milk. I’ve got to keep offering to him. I try to offer it every hour but I don’t know what I’m doing. HV said nutrition comes after 5 minutes so I should pump first and then give him. I find it so hard. I tried to pump one boob nothing came. The other abit came. Tried giving him express he’s not interested in that too. Sometimes he will go for a longer a feed but not long at all. He’s 4 months and is currently 5.46kg. I have no family or friend support here and wish I had a cook, cleaner and nanny to help with everything so I can concentrate on the little one. I don’t know what’s wrong with him but I’m loosing it. It doesn’t help that my also stressed generally about my relationship and life circumstances. Any advice that will work. Any comfort you can give. I’m fed up. Is this regression - not feeding. He’s fast fast asleep. I’ve been trying to push the nipple in but that mouth is closed shut. I took some clothes off. Changed his nappy but he’s still asleep. Please help

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
