They hit his mirror and not him thank goodness and now they have cops looking for the shooter. Idk why I'm posting this other than I'm here alone and idk what else to do with my anxious energy ugh I absolutely HATE Americas stupid ass gun loving culture it pisses me off so bad. And anyone who wants to come in here with the idiotic "it's a mental health" problem mess is welcome, I have time to educate you ruthlessly tonight

I live in Atl and there’s a lot of bad areas here. As locals we know which to avoid, but most visitors do not. I’m sorry this happened to you and your husband regardless.

Autumn, I’m so sorry. Glad your husband’s okay. ❤️

Hugs

Omg Autumn, I’m so sorry. How traumatic for u and ur family. Glad ur Hubby is okay. To go from a high of welcoming ur baby boy earlier this yr & now this devasting news. Sending u a virtual hug mama. Alhamdullilah he is okay

My husband used to drive a truck over the road. I know the sinking feeling when bad things happen and you just want them to come home. I’m so sorry. 😞 I’m glad he’s ok.

Wow, I am sorry you are dealing with all of this. Gun violence is horrible and has affected almost everyone at this point. My brother owned guns for many years and accidentally shot himself last year, and almost died. I have heard so many stories of people who own them and accidentally injure themselves. Ironically he was named after my dad’s friend’s son that accidentally shot and killed himself with a gun he owned. The US should stop glorifying them. They are also not reliable self defense weapons either, but so many people use them for offensive purposes too, and many owners of them end up injuring and/ or killing themselves or family members. I hope they find the shooter because they are likely to shoot at more people.

Married to a trucker and my fear is something like this to happen 😞 I’m happy he is okay. Stay strong!! My husband travels to Atl on occasions and he told me he do not like it there.

I hate US gun culture. I'm all for guns to hunt with if you're hunting with the intention to consume or use what you kill but not everyone should always be packing heat. I've been the victim of gun violence and it's so scary. I'm sorry mama. That's not okay. 😕

Sorry hun. ❤️
I'm glad he wasn't injured

I'm so sorry, I cant imagine what you just be feeling. So happy that you and your family are okay!

How scary! I’m so sorry. So glad he’s okay! Wishing the best for you and your family, both physically and mentally.

Hope you're okay. Be gentle with yourself. Good to hear your husband is safe.

I’m glad he was t hurt! I know the fear, it’s not a good feeling. I hate the fun loving unless it’s used for protection of my home and babies. However all the stupid oooo I got a gun let’s go shoot things and people it’s honestly fucking stupid!

I’m moving to Texas and am absolutely terrified as in some parts of Texas shooting military bases is a way in and that terrifies me as I’m a military wife. We also just turned down a base in Arizona due to the fact that the murder rate by that base is high!!! As for me I’ve had my house broken into while hubby was working I didn’t have my firearm yet and they had a gun, thankfully I had my Great Dane and let him lose and me baby and I were protected. I have been held at gun point as well as seeing my childhood best friend of 17 years we’d been friends from 4 til he died at 21 he was beat and then shot right in front of me and my two younger sisters.

Hope you're doing okay.
Who is generally doing the shooting? No need to say if it's awkward to say.

This is awful - I hope you are ok mentally & I’m very glad he wasn’t hurt. In terms of guns I have mixed feelings bc it’s more of a societal issue than guns specifically countries were high gun ownership works tend to have a lot of conditions the us doesn’t have it’s a completely different society. Hubby wishes I would carry bc I’ve been attacked multiple times in the decade plus since I came to the us and there’s generally a lot of crazy sht that happens where we live even tho it’s a lot safer than some other cities in this county - compared to our own counties it’s dangerous & chaotic. When I was studying in Berlin my bf was stabbed to death in our apt while I was at hen party 2 days before our wedding. In terms of less personal experiences a lot of even the worst with guns there were less casualties- in one week there were 3 drive bys & one guy was shot at close range during an altercation but only one death but stabbings are still more common & often resulted in multiple deaths.

I’m so sorry this happened.. do you mind if I ask what part north of Atlanta? Was he in the perimeter or just outside/ was he on a major highway like i85? (Asking because I live here, just wondering)
