Hiya everyone, 38 weeks a 2 days pregnant, keep experiencing mild period cramps that spread to my back but not really consistent and not that strong yet, is this a sign or pre labour, also going to the toilet more frequently for 1s and 2s which i think is a sign too. Any thoughts? Feel really drained and tired and all my body wants to do is rest, also experiencing waves of nausea obvs will call triage if my contractions are going more consistent but i am just in waiting mode at the moment. Would appreaciate peoples thoughts :)

Could be early labour, but this unfortunately doesnt mean that labour starts soon x

Same symptoms here, baby moving lower down puts a lot more pressure on your stomach and bowels etc. good sign but not necessarily that anything is imminent. Such a waiting game these last few weeksš everything could mean youāre a day away or still another 2 weeksš¤·āāļø everyone just progresses differently. Looking back with my first I was probably experiencing this from like 38-39 weeks and at my sweep was told my waters were bulging and he came at 40+6 with my waters going first and contractions being very strong straight away. So i probably was in āslow/early labourā for a while, just keep trying to relax to boost your oxytocin levels and regular movement/walking etc xxx

Hi.
I am 38+2weeks. Iām in my second pregnancy and experiencing something similar. I am feeling very mild cramps, but no pain in my back. I have frequent vaginal discharge. I feel pain in my pelvic area when I walk, like a shock. From what Iāve read and been told, it can be signs of pre-labour, especially this close, but everyone is so different.

I woke up to period cramps today too and pinkish stain when I wiped after I pee. Canāt tell if itās mucus plug or bleeding⦠Iām
