What to do while waiting

I’m currently 7 weeks and just waiting for my ultrasound in about 3 weeks from now… I wish there would be some update before that cause it’s a long time to wait between finding out pregnant and hearing any other updates. I’m a bit anxious it’s my first pregnancy and I hear a lot about how common it is to miscarry in your first trimester. Anyone have any tips on making the waiting easier?

First off, congratulations!!!

It sucks that we have to wait to get checked out, but in the meantime, just take care of yourself. Distract yourself and the time will go by quick! I remember when I got pregnant , I found out at 3.5 weeks cuz it was planned so I had to wait 7 weeks 😭 I just didn’t think about the appt bc it would make me feel impatient. And I would just make sure I was hydrating, and staying active (I worked) just focus on other things , keep an eye out for any bleeding or even if you have a bad feeling, go to the ER and get checked out! And time will go by quick

Congrats! I am 8 w 2 days and my ultrasound is in one more week. It’s been so hard waiting. But I do get to see my doctor today at least for a checkup! This is my second, I am having so much gas I keep thinking something is wrong but the cramping is just that. Don’t worry too much, try and take it day by day!

Am I in labour?!!?

Can real labour contractions just start close together instead of being far apart and at inconsistent times to start then getting close???
I’m 37 +2 and I’ve had braxton hicks for weeks but just started having contractions about 20 minutes ago I’ve had 5 so far and haven’t timed them as of but they are a lot more intense and low down and I need to breathe through them. I’ve had no waters break idk if I’m just overthinking

Reduced movement

Hey. I was just thinking. What is considered as reduced movement? Assuming you normally feel your baby move 5 times a day. If they moved just 2 times on one day, 4 times the next, once the following day but next to 5 the day after. Is that reduced movement or irregular movement? At what point exactly do you call triage?

October Baby

My little baby boy was meant to be due on the 30th October but he decided yesterday at 11:14am that he wanted to make an appearance.

Early arrival

So it would appear it was time for our little girl to make her appearance on the 1st October at 2205, only a week early but perfectly healthy and happy now home in the comfort of my own bed to recover ❤️

Scrubs fitting larger Dad

Hi all; I’m due to have a C section at RUH Bath in 2 weeks and my husband is very worried about scrubs fitting - he is approx 4XL. Any tips especially from RUh but other hospitals helpful, thanks.
