Got told at my 20 week scan that I need to come back as I have a low lying placenta. I know this is probably quite common and it can move by the time I get a follow up scan. How do I not stress myself out about it? I feel okay with a C-section as I’d be more in the known but I’m still also petrified.

I was diagnosed with complete placenta previa at 12 weeks and just found out it has fully moved! You still have a ton of time for it to move so keep your hopes high!

Not sure if this helps at all as you said you feel ok with a c section, I had a planned/emergency c section and I absolutely loved it. Don’t google. Don’t research to much and just listen to your body. You’ll be okay!

Me too. I'm 22+3 and at my 20 week scan they said it was low lying. There is a 90% chance that it will have moved by 32 weeks. If it doesn't you'll be scheduled for a section 36-37 weeks.
I had a section with my first (after a long labour) and it's obviously a harder recovery, but isn't that bad and whatever happened you'll be fine ❤️❤️ xx
