Diet and weight loss

I am so desperate to lose weight, but im also RAVENOUS. Im not breastfeeding but when I wake in the night to do a feed I have to eat 🥴 i feel so sick if I dont!

Its so random, I think im making up for my intense nausea in pregnancy and now eating everything in sight. Im only 8w pp and not sure whether to just forget the idea of a diet for now, or battle through it before I pile on more lbs!

Anyone on a diet/plan that works 😅

I feel you! I’m 8 weeks pp also but exclusively pumping and am so deflated over the way I look and feel physically. Following for tips xx

Give yourself some grace, you are still newly postpartum in the grand scheme of things, and your body needs fuel to repair and sustain.

Totally get this.
At 8 weeks pp, hormones, night wakes and lack of sleep can make hunger feel intense.
It doesn’t mean you can’t lose weight, just that how you approach it matters.

Gentle exercise, enough protein and small nutrition adjustments usually work far better than strict dieting at this stage.

I share a lot about safe postpartum workouts and realistic fat loss on my Instagram if you’d like to follow along 😊

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
