Partners birthday

What did we all do for our partners 30th? Or any birthdays. Last couple years we’ve alway fell short with babysitters but my mums offered to have the kids if I want to do something nice for my partner this year. Not sure what to get her or where to take her this year, her birthdays in middle of March so not got long left, I’ll have next month and beginning of March to plan it 😩 I’m thinking a weekend away but not sure where lol, we’re in London and drive

We did a weekend away for my partner's 30th, we were living in Swansea at the time so went to Cardiff for the weekend and had plenty of child free fun. I was 30 last September, but had a baby in June, so we just went to Manchester for the afternoon, did some shopping and plenty of eating 😂 think we're going to try for a weekend away another time when baby is a bit older. I think it depends what kind of thing your partner likes and would enjoy. A weekend away just the 2 of you would be lovely and give you time to connect without the kids

Doing the Manchester bake off for my wife's 30th then for mine were doing an escape room

Depends on what you enjoy doing but we have done several trips on a short drive from London ( mostly nature related and you can bring the kids too)
- Norfolk to see the seals ( winter is perfect time)
- new forest to see the semi wild horses
- last year went to the Jurassic coast to hunt fossils
- Cheddar gorge

Fancy dinner out and a fun activity together is always good. We like darts, pool and mini golf. So depends what your partner is in to

Thank you everyone x all ideas would appeal to my partner. We’re ambiverts so while we enjoy staying indoors we absolutely love getting out when we can and trying new things. She’s been mentioning a spa break as neither of us have been so I’m thinking something like that along with some of your ideas xx planning to hopefully get away for 3 or so days so will give us a chance to do a lot

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
