What chair does your 4 yo actually sit on at dinner table?

As soon as we gave up high chair to younger bro, sitting n eating became a problem

I see him do it just fine at nursery! But its all the right height n size and peer pressure (altho i see loads of kids wonder about still)

I have a joie 6 in 1 i could convert to floor level but he wont sit on his own i bet

He found ikea high up wood chair too uncomfortable n told us he hates the cushion

And with adult chairs he finds them comfy but lack of stability because feet dangling means he prefers to stand (which inevitably leads to wondering, playing or distracting his bro) or he sit on someone’s lap for a bit

Does someone have a comfy high up chair with adjustable foot rest, cushiony/non wood? Or is it only kids sized table that will work??

Could you get a booster seat that allows some room on the chair for his feet? That way he’s at the table at a good height and somewhere to put his feet :)

We used to put a pillow on the chair. It’s never really been an issue.

Both our kids have a Tripp Trapp.

I use a booster seat!

Adult chair from 1 1/2 on but more often than not she’s running around 😂

Normal chair since about 2. Let her sit or kneel.

My 4 year old sits on a regular chair and the dining table with us

My little one is 2 and she sits on an adult chair. She's a lot cleaner when she eats now and I did it one day for fun and she did so well it just carried on 😂

Mine had a booster seat but when he got too big for that I actually just got some outdoor cushions and tied those on. Works great and they're washable 🤣

A booster on top of the adult size chair and she’s strapped in so she’s not going anywhere

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
