There was me thinking on maternity I'd be living the life checking out all the cute little coffee shops and trying out all the sweet treats etc. Just bought a medium coffee for £4.85 without a sweet treat! Close to a tenner with a cake.
I guess I'll be limiting my coffee stops to when I have someone to meet for a social once a week 🙃
Anyone else wondering how to make social meet ups less spenny?

M&S and morrisons do a free cake with a hot drink on Tuesdays I think 😊

My friend gave me a good tip, get a good travel coffee mug and take a coffee from home for walks etc. Alone or with friends!

Some children centres have stay and play with free drinks and biscuits.

With my first I would alternate the following to keep costs down as personally I needed to do something once a day:
- coffee
- Baby cinema at Everyman (comes with coffee and cake)
- Rhyme time at a library (free)
- class (paid termly)
- zoo (I had a very cheap membership via work which cost £30/yr at the time)
- playgroup (£2-3)
- Children Centre (free)
- walk (free)
- play dates with antenatal group (free)
- park when older
