Hi ladies, I’m currently off work as I’m struggling with nausea again and my hours of work are 7:00 - 5:00 and I’m just struggling getting through each day. I’m going too call my GP this morning for a sicknote which I wouldn’t normally do but I don’t feel as though I can work at the moment. I worry about sick pay and things like that and I do normally get paid when I’m off sick but just wanted some advice / clarity and if anyone else has been off before? (I’ve worked for the NHS for 3 years so far)

There’s no reason you wouldn’t get paid under nhs policy. Pregnancy related sickness is common… it would only really affect you closer to the time when they could start your maternity leave early.
Your maternity pay is calculated from an average of earnings between weeks 17-25 so some people do more hours to up pay during this time

If you've worked for the NHS for 3 years, you'll get paid for 4 months full pay, and then 4 months half pay x
